The CBYO performed the finale of the last night of the MFY Proms in the Royal Albert Hall on Wednesday 25th November.
The 88 members of the orchestra received rave reviews for their performance of the last movement of Shostakovich's Fifth Symphony.
The CBYO also performed the traditional Land of Hope and Glory finale and a new work by Joe Broughton which had been commissioned by Music for Youth to close the 2015 concerts.
The CBYO were delighted to work with Music for Youth again who are one of the foremost promoters of Youth Music in the United Kingdom. This is the fourth time that the CBYO has been invited to perform at the MFY Proms Concerts and all at the CBYO were proud to once again represent Northern Ireland at this national event.
