CBYO CELEBRATION EVENING
The Orchestra returned to live performance for the first time in 2 years on Sunday 10th April in Belfast City Hall!
This Celebration Evening, performed in the presence of the Deputy Lord Mayor, postponed from March 2020, saw Belfast City Council acknowledge over 6 decades of music making by CBYO as an integral part of the musical heritage of the City.
It also marked a return to live performance bringing the CBYO back to where it belongs in the heart of this great Music City !
Thanks were also conveyed to the staff and members of the Orchestra for their resilience in keeping the ensemble rehearsing throughout the pandemic by Michele Corkey, Director of Education, EA.
All who attended and performed thoroughly enjoyed the evening and remarked on how
wonderful it was to be sharing in the joy of live music making again
